I’ve decided to make this a regular Thursday post. Here’s today’s postcard from the memory vaults.
This is Brighton Beach in England. It was one of Europe’s hottest summers and I decided that I needed to be at the beach. Brighton was only an hour’s train ride away from London, which made it a perfect little day trip.
It was the first time I’ve encountered pebble beach. I found a little quiet patch, listened to the waves wash the pebbles and slept for an hour in the luke warm European sun on the pebbles. It wasn’t the most comfortable sleep as you can imagine, although the pebbles did massage into my sore muscles, despite the little bruises it gave me around my joints!
Have you been to Brighton? What was your most memorable moment there?
